It did kind of look like it was about to attack them though. It was a pretty vicious dog.

The poor dog (who in the very end, after it was killed looked like a perfectly norma rottweiler) has been exposed over and over to the gas.  If it can drive a person insane, what will it do to a dog?

Oh hahaha. I never considered the reason the dog was going to attack because he was wired from that gas. He was more manaical than Henry Knight. Poor dog. Funny though!

Re: whats your favourite part of this episode??

Hounds is one of my fav episodes after Irene. I love the mystery, location/setting, music and the character of Henry.

If I had to pick specific moments (gawd, there are so many!) -

- Sherlock being bored out of his mind at the beginning and begging for the ciggies.
- Sherlock's Mind Palace scene.
- Sherlock lifting his collar and John commenting on it - ha ha.
- Lestrade joining them and seeming so happy by it.
Oh, and Sherlock standing on those rocks with his coat and hair blowing and looking really sexy!

Re: whats your favourite part of this episode??

I love nearly everything about this episode!

- John calling him 'Spock'
- John pulling ranks and Sherlock grinning
- Sherlock looking sexy on a rock
- Sherlock looking sexy being covered in blood (that sounds weird!)
- 'like a fairy' lol
- Sherlock manipulating John into drinking the 'drugged' coffee - the looks on his face - priceless!

But most of all I probably love the mind-palace scene, I could watch it forever, it is.. beautiful!

Re: whats your favourite part of this episode??

It's interesting, because as a whole this episode doesn't really work for me. Nevertheless there are lots of great scenes in it - it just seems that put together there still is something missing (for me).

My favourite scene would have to be Sherlock apologising to John.
And also:
- Sherlock and John talking to Dr. Stapleton for the first time
- "I need some, get me some!" in 221B
- "Is that why you call yourself Greg?!"
- and yes, the scene in front of the fireplace
