We all know that Sherlock does not eat whilst working on a case. However, let us assume he is having a bit of a fallow period case-wise. What meal would you cook for him? Any ideas?

I'd cook him a huge bowl of spaghetti with pesto - noodles make everyone happy!

Well, I know he likes Chinese because he recommended it to John at the end of Study In Pink...so I guess a nice chow mein would do.

He definitely mentions dim sum.

So far we have dim sum starters followed by spaghetti with pesto (yummy) and I will add strawberry Angel Delight (a study in pink). Any other suggestions? What about drinkies?
Let's have dinner!

Drinkies? No Moriartea, obviously. What about some nice ginger (not auburn!) tea?

Black coffee with two sugars.

Ha! I love the idea of ginger tea. Maybe he likes ginger beer?
What about a gingerbread men as little petit fours? But not ones burnt to a crisp!

And he likes mince pies!

Lots of chinese and than a mince pie with black coffee 2 sugars

Well, that should make him even more hyperactive than normal! LOL

And afterwards we could all sit down and have a nice game of Cluedo!

Oh no! Never again! Anyway we would have to detach the board from the wall in the flat and everything.

Oh can he have some fortune cookies as well please! So he can guess the fortunes!
Offline
Oh yeah, he can, I forgot about that!! I'd love to see him guess the fortunes.

A simple omlette because it's quick and easy, which covers Sherlock's boredom threshold! I'd add a few mushrooms and onions to make it a tad more interesting and make sure he got a healthy veg portion! I'm sure he doesn't eat enough fruit and veggies!
(I'm exploring all the really old topics...thought it might be fun to re-vive a few!).

I am no master chef, but I make a mean pasta with bacon and mushrooms in cream sauce... the secret is the splash of kids style salsa.
And as a drink... well maybe some fine french lemonade? (I would have served him wine but I know nothing about wine)

Regarding the fact that we never see him eating any meat I would go for a vegetarian option.
Eggplant parmigiana pizza and panna cotta with strawberries for dessert (now I am getting hungry myself)

^Ooh yum!!
Speaking of dessert... I think I would make up for the slightly fatty sauce with my family raspberry pie recipe. Easiest thing to make and tastes awesome! And has no fat in it either... (Which you can't taste)
