I can't remember if originally they were aiming for 60 mins or 45 mins but they were gonna make 6 eps per series. Would the plots of episodes still be as convoluted as they have become or would they have been slightly more manageable.? Would there have been less characters though? Like would Molly still be featuring in the shorter length episodes or would she not have been scripted in when they first created her? Just think how much mischief Moriarty & Magnussen could get up to in six episodes instead of 3
