Yep. You know what, that scene (and the one that follows) somehow reminded me of the scene in TRF when Sherlock and John are in Kitty's flat and Moriarty comes in and John does all the talking while Sherlock is just standing there, looking and thinking. In both cases it feels to me as if Sherlock is getting it, right there. He knows. He knows everything.
