Just to let people know:

We have been discussing real honest to goodness spoilers of HLV in the Chatrooms.  Now, obviously, some people don't want to know, so we have taken to discussing them in the other chatroom for those who do want to know.  We aren't discussing it on the boards because people don't have the option of blocking it out, but we have talked about it at length there.  Just to let people know before they come in

I quite liked reading this, except for #5, but we all knew it was coming. I don't think it's Mycroft, Gatiss is too much in love with this character to have 'himself' killed off, just my guess of course. Still sort of think Mary is the one who has to make the ultimate sacrifice so to speak.
But I liked all the other hints. So they will be following along the lines of the Milverton story in the canon and Sherlock ends up with a girlfriend, can't wait to see this.
I also love that we are going to find out some things about John. With the first two episodes centred mainly around Sherlock and how his character has developed I think it really is time for an in-depth analysis of John Watson!

god I just had a flash of Lars Mikkelsen as CAM. Everytime I think about it I get the chills. Skin crawling...urg!

But in the canon it's not a "real" girlfriend, right?  *sheepish grin*

No she isn't real in the canon, just a cover. So if they do go that route in HLV, I doubt they would make her a real girlfriend...seriously, Sherlock having a girlfriend? *rolls eyes* No way.
