I am so psyched now! I am hoping with the immense popularity of this show they will somehow get episodes out more quickly. If 'Downton Abbey' can do it, why can't 'Sherlock'? Yeah, I know it's all about talent availablity and other projects, blah, blah, blah. But THIS show, this is THE one. It's such a winner. It deserves everyone's constant and full attention.

Wouldn't it be brilliant, just BRILLIANT, if they were able to give us series 4 in, let's say... 18 months instead of 24 months? Because two years, I'm not sure I'd survive that...

This can't be true?? If yes, woww??
I am of course happy about MORE Sherlock!! But... how likely is it that they'll be able to keep up the quality? And for how long will it continue? Most long running shows don't get better during time. I don't want Sherlock to be anything but awesome... as awesome as it is right now.
I just pray they know what they're doing, and that they are doing it for joy and quality and not for money and popularity. god why am I so afraid...

I think they can keep up the quality because their filming schedule is so drawn out.

With Sherlock, we are talking about 15 episodes.
Well, maybe it's just because I just love to do Sherlock nights and how to put 15 episodes into one night?!? :D :D ;) God, imagine over 20 hours of Sherlock... okay, forget the doubts, I want that 5th episode quite badly now, actually :D
