One Tumblr blog who has seen the episode has posted major spoilers for The Empty Hearse and tagged them with everything they can think of except spoilers.
Please be cautious if you use Tumblr to stay out of the tags and savior or block the blog feck-your-fanart
This person is deliberately trying to spoil the episode for as many people as possible. Just terrible.
Also, you may wish to turn off anon asks, as apparently they've been sending spoilers direct to people's inboxes that way.
ETA: They are doing the same in Twitter so avoid Sherlock-related hashtags.
Tumblr has apparently taken action to remove the offending posts but you should still be cautious.

Some people just were not raised right.

Different Fandom but same rules apply...

Loved that cartoon - so true!

Thanks for the warning. Some people want to attract attention at all costs...

AAAND apparently they're spreading into other fandoms and tagging the posts with things like supernatural to try and get people.
Might be best to just stay off Tumblr for 2 weeks; that's what I've decided to do

I won't be going on Tumblr until the first episode has aired. At least I can still come on here x

Yes, thank you for posting this. I'm not used to tumblr, in fact didn't know it pre Sherlock, so I'm not that tempted anyway.
I accidentally saw a picture from the second episode that looked as if somebody took it while watching it on the premiere. In fact a new picture but not very spoilerish because we already know what kind of event we will see. But still awful.
Team Sherlock did a good job to keep the secret and everybody who knows or thinks he knows was silent or cryptic.
But now after (what, three days?) the press airing major spoilers get out.
I hope Moftiss can find out who is responsible and put him in a torture chamber (Mr Gatiss apparently threatend to do this).

I just peeked into my tumblr and luckily I can trust the blogs I follow . This whole spoiler thing actually already became a new meme, like here (no spoiler!!):
I just love this fandom
And Be, are you sure the pic you saw is from the second episode? AFAIK only episode one has been shown yet?!

It can also be a picture from the screening some months ago when a short clip was shown from ep. 2.
I just haven't seen it yet and I think it is actually new on the internet.

I peeked at Tumblr last night and luckily all I saw were warnings about the spoilerish activity going on. While I have wallowed in spoilers to some extent during the filming, like some others, I don't want spoilers for the completed episode.
So grateful for this forum where everyone is civil and looks out for each other. *group hug*

I saw a post on Twitter today saying the same thing about spoilers, so I will not use Twitter and Tumblr until I have seen all three episodes actually. Not only the first one. So far I avoided spoilers and it should stay this way.
Still so excited for the new year

I follow a couple of Sherlock-related tumblr blogs and haven't seen any spoilers
