So stoic. Then adorable. Then stoic again.
Is this fan done, or actual concept for the cover? Either way… have some more awesome BAMF-style boys again.
(and here's the individual shots: )

John has really got that "don't F with me" look in his eyes.

Besides the obvious good looks on display here, what I like best of all is that they're both in character-- look at their John and Sherlock expressions! Love it.

That is exactly what I told myself during the whole movie

Maybe so, but Smaug is overdressed.

Nahh…. Smaug is vain and proud… he'd totally be the only one there wearing a classy suit… ;D

I've always wondered how much of it (the laughing, especially) was an ad lib. But it totally worked. And meanwhile, Ben looks to be hanging onto that sheet with a death grip.

Nope! I'm also having way too much fun with the momentary adorably hilarious mental imagery. All the dwarves in their gear, and 'Smaug' in slick black three-piece suit with dark red undertone… gold buttons, gold cuff links, fancy fob watch on a nice chain, etc.
(oh, and also much love to the alternatively completely underdressed Sherlock….)

I think it´s a lot in the chemistry between Martin and Ben!

He has said he was.

Oh, who knows. I know the sheet slipped later on, as he was walking out, and it sure looked as though he was naked under there, but who knows. I've always thought it was funny, how he was sitting on that couch, resolutely staring forward, knees together, and hanging onto the sheet so tightly. And bare feet. A bit like a stubborn, naughty boy who insisted on going to school without his clothes, only to find himself cold, uncomfortable and feeling silly. heh

Oh absolutely. His stubbon nature got him into a situation he could not get out of gracefully.

Aww...the boys in all their glory. I like how John is leaning into Sherlock. And Sherlock doesn't seem to mind that his personal body space is being invaded; in fact, he looks rather smug and satisfied with himself.
