Hello from Texas!

I just recently discovered Sherlock, but have already watched both seasons twice! I honestly don't know how anyone waited 2 years between seasons, but God bless you for doing so. I'm excited to learn more about the show and get to know other fans, as well. Happy Holidays!

Twice?  I am sorry, but I can't help myself. You are very welcome.
Maybe you can give us a new perspective on everything because we have watched it so often that we can't see the tree in the forest any more. (another metaphor of Sherlock's btw)

Tell us what you think.

Hi, welcome here, and enjoy!

Eventually everyone will support Johnlock.   Independent OSAJ Affiliate

... but there may be some new players now. It’s okay. The East Wind takes us all in the end.

When I say that I recently discovered Sherlock, I mean last week, so maybe I'm doing okay having watched both seasons twice in one week?

Anyway, hmm. what do I think...well, I think the show is brilliant, but that is so obvious...

Something that I think is uniquely wonderful about Sherlock (I apologize if this has been brought up before), is the length of each episode. I think it's a happy median between the typical TV format of 1/2 hour – 1 hour episodes and the recent popularity of Netflix productions where entire seasons are released at once. I think Sherlock's length is perfect (no sexual innuendo intended) in that it allows the viewer to be satisfied by each episode, but that you're still wanting more (obviously, the delay between each season was too long, but you know what I mean). I think there is something to be said for delayed gratification, which the Netflix model doesn’t allow for, but Sherlock’s does.

Hello and welcome to the forum. I discovered Sherlock in September 2013 and I love it too! It is great! Do you like Benedict Cumberbatch? Have fun!

Liking Benedict is the whole reason I stumbled upon Sherlock. Although, I have to admit that I am new to liking him, as well.

That wink *melts*...

Re: Hello from Texas!

Hello and welcome to the forum kellypenelope.  Not long for you to wait until series 3! For me it seems like an eternity! (A bit of poetry).
