Ok 1 fan girl has directly tweeted to Caitlin with the simple message: why?
Yeah, why? This is exactly the question I would like to ask her. It's not that I hate her or something but I'm just hugely disappointed in her. Everyone was looking forward to C. Moran because she is usually very good at her job but it just turned out to be awful.

I wish I could time travel and go forward in time to see all the episodes in a row on DVD

Ok the fan fic writer tweeted and she is very upset.
Much angry discussion on Twitter.
Anyhow, I do hope it goes away soon, for everybody's sake.

Besley, I found the Guardian review you mentioned.
Oh, I just so can't wait to see the actual episode! It all sounds great

Kittykat actaully posted it on the spoiler thread, which I hadn't thought of!

Oh, sorry, well does it reveal that much? If any of the mods thinks it should be taken down, ok then, for now I'm going to leave it where it is.
But I think I know what got you so excited

My personal feeling is that we have given due warning about not reading, if you don't want to know.
It doesn't actually say, anyway.
We have all just come to the same conclusion!

Was it already mentioned here?
I like the review on the Shelockology page.
Very well written and makes me my mouth water. Even more...

Splendid.

This sounds almost too good to be true... but I'll just believe every single word of it.

Yeah... isn't it? I'm so excited. And January 1st seems so far away.... *sigh*
Edit: Btw... if I read this again... perfect English...
...Shelockology...

I have to say I'm pretty relaxed right now, work is a good distraction. But I guess it'll get worse over the holidays...

Ha ha... I didn't relax any more after I registered in this forum.

None do

They also mentioned a slightly different dynamic. I suppose it doesn't mean much but it still worries me somehow. I am just afraid that my expectations are too high.

I think there just has to be a slightly different dynamic, just because the situation they are in will be a different one. It's not just the two of them anymore, and what's even more important: trust issues. Sherlock was the one person John trusted, and then this went straight out of the window. What now?
I hope they have found a way to still give us a feeling of familiarity.

Yeah, and this is just my fear that the new episodes are so much different from the last ones. As much as I like to see how they'll handle the new situation I still hope for some familiarity.
I'm sure it is absolutely unneccessary for me to worry but I just can't help it.

Sheldon Cooper once said: "Change is never fine, they say it is, but it's not."
He does have a point there, IMO, but I just hope that in case of Series 3 this proves to be wrong.
