Apparently Mark threatened people with his torture chamber, if they gave away spoliers.
I confess, I'd rather like to see Mark's torture chamber!

Squeeeeeee! Louise Brealey answered me! I tweeted her this:
Dear Loo, can you please tell the boys that there actually is some really well-written fanfiction out there? Eternal thanks!
and she answered this:
We all know, don't worry. x
I am internally screaming and outwardly remaining calm in order to not spook the dog!

Congratulations.
Loo is an absolute star...
I still want her and Benedict to get together!

She'd in fact be the only one whom I'd accept as his partner (except self, but am taken...)!
I'm just really glad she said this...

This is great news, Kerkerian. Good to see not everyone makes fun of this sort of literature. Some fics are really brilliant.

Ok 1 fan girl has directly tweeted to Caitlin with the simple message: why?
As if the woman won't feel bad enough.
Incidentally. You know I have trouble copying/pasting anything here.
But just to alert you to the fact The Guardian has posted a review.
Fairly spoiler free.
But it mentioned something about casting which got me very excited.
But if you don't want to know, don't read it!

Some more pics from the Q&A and more to come:

Hahaha, I'm so serene!
Seriously, I can still feel the unscreamed scream tingling down my spine, but my dog would have jumped out of his skin (and probably bumped his head on the desk) and my hubby would have come running with a knife or a piece of firewood in order to beat back the alien intruders, so staying calm was the sensible thing to do.

It's very easy to copy and paste here, even on Chrome...

Yes, I thought so- and if anyone would understand, I hoped it'd be Loo.

So sweet of her to say. And I do believe it's true.

I really do hope so.
I don't want them to have to be embarrassed because of (some of) their fans.

I also believe it's true, but to me the thing is not even if the fic Martin and Ben had to read was good or bad. It's the mere fact that Caitlin made them read fanfic at all that pisses me off. This just didn't belong there, and after watching the short clip I really wonder why! It seems to me she didn't even know herself why she wanted them to read it.
God, this is so... amateurish.
