Oh, this is so beautiful. Lovely moment.

I just love this moment and this pic!

I agree. I felt like in this moment he really cared. I think he cared becasue he also saw the hound and it drove him a little crazy for a bit, so he can understand this poor man was suffering a lot longer with the delusion then he was. He felt bad for him.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Beautiful pic, tobe!
And I agree, it really seemed to me that Sherlock genuinely cared about Henry at that moment. He appeared to be quite shocked when Henry took the gun and intended to kill himself.

What about this situation then, does he genuinely care about John as well, does Sherlock really regret his little experiment...?

He doesn't regret the experiment, but I think he acknowledges that it upset John, and he feels bad about that.

No, I don't think so. He doesn't regret anything. But he's blaming himself for having been wrong concerning the sugar. Sherlock knows that John will forgive him almost everything. Those pitiful look he gives John is just...not genuine.

John: "Have you spoken to Mycroft, Molly, uh, anyone?"
Mrs Hudson: "They don’t matter. You do."

I BELIEVE IN SERIES 5!

It'll be interesting to see if there will be any genuine feelings in series three...

For what it's worth, I agree, on all points.

Beware - here are some pics from the Desolation of Smaug premiere. Red and black (dragon-style) tuxedo from Dolce e Gabbana in case anyone is interested.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I agree. My first reaction was What Is That Thing? I understand the idea behind it but it is somehow too much - two colours, the pattern on the lapels and a waistcoat underneath. All in red would have been better if you want to show a bold colour.
But as for the rest -

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

And it's velvet, right? That's just... yes, way too much.
But of course never too much of Benedict. Aaahhh, his hair...!

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I think so. The cloth is quite nice as such but not combined with all the rest. And instead of a plain shirt he is wearing this thing with tucks or whatever you call them in English sewn in. On the other hand he may have thought "If nobody recognises me in the film at least they will look at me on the red carpet".

The hair. Yes. Thud.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I don't like his hair when it's slicked/brushed back. I really prefer him when his hair is longer, lose and flowing. Longer hair frames his face better, I think.

YES! The hair is... great. And the man himself...
The suit... a matter of taste... Not mine as well. Don't like the cut of the jacket.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Judging by the colour of the suit on the guy he was hugging, I think it's Richard Armitage! *squeals*

Now then...what about some ginger curls?

Yeah...I'm not gonna resize this ^^

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Richard Armitage says he's a big fan of Ben's, and would go into the motion capture studio just to watch him work ^^
