Maybe the bromace is just in everyone else's head? Maybe the Johnlockians got it right and you guys are the wrong ones.
I kid, I kid.
I know Johnlock is not canon, but that doesn't make it any less real to me or to other Johnlockians.

Oh the bromance is entirely real.
That is a completey different animal to Johnlock.

No, nothing is real, dear. It is all in our little heads. When two people watch the same film, they do not see the same. Sorry.

Not getting into this again and not on a picture thread.
But we know what the writers and actors have said.
Sigh.

May I remind you that all what we perceive is processed by our own brain?
So we don't even know if something outside of our brain actually exists.
That applies also to scripts, writers, performers, you and me

It is completely acceptable that people are going to have different opinions on EVERYTHING, not just Sherlock and John. My roommate is a huge fan of the show as well but thinks I am nuts for my love of Johnlock. He doesn't see it. Most men don't see it. And that's fine. But he doesn't run around and tell me 'it's all in my head.' He accepts that I love it, even agrees that he can see where I might draw that conclusion from the show.
Now I know you didn't mean anything mean by your statement, but it really bothered me. It's ok if you don't agree with it, but please don't tell me or anyone else 'it's all in your head' as if we’re somehow wrong to have those thoughts.
It’s not in our heads. It’s in the show. It’s just done in an *intentionally* ambiguous way.

No it's not.
Not according to actors and writers.

who don't exist but in our fantasy

I assure you that the writers and actors all exist.

How do you not think it was done intentionally when we have scenes like the Anglo's scene, the pool scene where John says "Now people will really talk." When he have Mrs. Hudson constantly thinking they are 'in a domestic' or 'not in need of a second bedroom' Or every other part where someone else thinks they are a couple? That was done intentionally. And so many, many other parts I could bring up and tell you that the writers made it ambigous on purpose.
I am not saying they are trying to IMPLY that they are gay, I am saying they wrote it in such a way, on purpose, so people could draw their own conclusions.

Yes, go and draw your own conclusions from pictures like these:

No they didn't.
They deliberately wrote a 'gay' joke through the series
You missed out Sally implying a realtionship between them, which she does to have a go at them.
Oh and Sebastian saying' friend?' about John, teasing Sherlock.
Oh and Mycroft's ' may we expect a happy announcement'.
Oh and the 'gandlords' conversations in the HOUND pub.

I'm sorry. I think you are disresecpting Moftiss right now. They did not do anything 'as a joke' they would tick off the fandom royally if they did. It's not meant to be "Queer Bating' as it has come to be known.
Look, I am fine if you are not a Johnlock shipper. I have many friend's who are not. I am just telling you that even though you didn't mean too, (starting to debate that actually) you said something hurtful. That's all.
