I declare this the beginning of my next obsession!

*cue awkward introduction where you deduce everything about my life*

Well, no, that's not how it happens. Other way around. I'LL do the genius work here, okay?

No, not that either.

Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrm. Hullo! My name is Sarah, so I probably could've registered as some variant of Sarah Sawyer, but I went for Mori instead, Mori being short for Moriarty. I've got a villain thing, ya see. But that doesn't mean I'm not stalking every other character, because aren't we all?

Some info now sounds about right, d'you think? Well, I come from a very weird sort of place, typically avoided by everyone else in the world, filled to the brim with some of the most irksome organisms in existence...America, indeed. You got it. Specifically Pennsylvania (oh boy). As for me, personally, I my age begins with a 1 and ends with a 6 and may or may not have something in between (hint: it doesn't). I can't imagine what else anyone would like/need to know at the moment, except for 1.) You'll be seeing a lot of side notes in brackets by me; and 2.) I have a physically painful desire to visit Europe again (yup) for a trip and then make a life in England, a dream which is both helped and hurt by my newfound love for Sherlock. Many sighs.

I suppose another thing about me is my passion for writing. I feel like that's something I'll share with many others here. My attempts at writing books have failed due to procrastination, laziness, excessive focus on planning and no actual writing, school difficulties, writer's block, lack of motivation, mental flaws, and being easily distracted. I've recently come up with newer ideas for another project, which I truly hope to finish. And yes, it'll draw influence from Sherlock, absolutely.

This is the second fan forum website I've joined. And both times, I joined only a few days after I first saw the object of my obsessions. And I was instantly hooked. (btdubbs, the first was Les Mis, I'll reference it a LOT) So, yes, I first watched Sherlock last Thursday and today is now Wednesday. A friend of mine was already into it, and I saw a reference to the Reichenbach Fall on Facebook (which, if I looked back on it now, would produce rivers from my eyes), so I looked it up. I found myself watching Sherlock's suicide scene (because anything involving suicide catches my attention, interest, and emotions immediately), not knowing that my friend would convince me to actually watch the entire show, which I did, of course.

Oh, one point - I've also decided to email the Sherlock Fan Orchestra about joining them in their next endeavor, sicne it's too late to be a part of SHERlocked. It's a shame, because that song is fantastic. As are all the songs in this show, my God, I can never get over it. I hope they email me back. I sugegsted to them that Prepared to do Anything, one of my favourite (trying to be British here, okay?) pieces, is a nice candidate for the next compilation. I also hope they can provide me with the scores for the songs they've already done; I have a habit of hoarding sheet music, and trying to arrange versions that my school band could play.

Oh dear me, I've said too much. I ought to go now, I need to get to bed. My back hurts from sitting here for so long. Plus, I only got two hours of sleep one night this week. Thanks to everybody who's on this website! I'll try to stop in tomorrow, as long as I don't have any major distractions, and get my new life as an official fan sorted out. Goodbye, John. (Yes, I will be saying this. You can't stop me and you never will.)

Don't worry.  We're all obsessed in some ways.  Sorta.  *innocent whistle*  Welcome!

Welcome, Mori. Being obsessed is no problem here. This is a Sherlockian self-help group.

Come on in, the water is lovely!  Especially in the shallow end where a lot of us spend our time.

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to the forum Mori! A villain thing! Really! (join the club!)

Don't make people into heroes John. Heroes don't exist and if they did I wouldn't be one of them.

Re: I declare this the beginning of my next obsession!

Aw, shucks, everybody; thanks to all of you for your greetings and welcomes!  It seems like more people have interacted with me here on this post than ever in my life. Since I haven't got any homework this evening, it looks like I'll be lurking around these forums for fun, and perhaps commenting when I think I have something intelligent to say. See you all later :D

Re: I declare this the beginning of my next obsession!

Welcome, Mori.  So glad you joined us and I'm looking forward to reading some of your stories when you're ready.  I'm in Massachusetts but I have some ties to Pennsylvania cause my mom came from there - Easton to be exact.  And my husband is a Civil War buff so we've been to Gettysburg many times.

There's a lot for you to explore here - discussions going back a couple of years - we've talked about it all!.  Obsess away!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And I said "dangerous" and here you are.

You. It's always you. John Watson, you keep me right.

Re: I declare this the beginning of my next obsession!

Hi, I hardly say anything on here. All I can say then is glad to see you have buckled your seat belt and got ready for the ride into being forever hooked on Sherlock Holmes et al. Moriarty is just brilliant, terribly cracked, but brillliant and Andrew Scott made such a good job of it. Course that'll make no sense cause they are real, aren't they. Well, Sherlock is the real, or maybe that's BC. Well there you go, see why I don't post much?

Welcome. Feel free to have a good old obsess like we do.

Don't worry about it necessarily being intelligent.  Sometimes all you can say is *thud*.
