Wasn't he in The Full Monty?
Yep! I love that movie, hehe

That was really funny and moving. I watched the dubbed version so I had no problem understanding Robert Carlyle.

Look at all that beauty.

I love IslandBatch. I have the DVD on my desk, waiting to make new screenshots.
It is another of his characters that are not really likeable. He manages to make them human so that in the end you feel for them after all.

So true, Susi. The scene in the kitchen, when he's explaining where he's been and why it took him so long to return... heartbreaking.
And speaking of Blue Monday:

Saw it ages ago, when it was first shown because I'd read the book. Been trying to find it since watching Sherlock, with no luck

I found it on Amazon.
Here is another one:

His performance is not bad at all. I just don't understand his Scottish accent.
He's got a Scottish accent in TLE?! I just might swoon twice!
And yes, he is in The Full Monty, a movie I love even though they lie about there actually being a full monty. *pout*

At least I think it is Scottish. And he is a Scot after all.

Yes, yes he is. *sigh* I've just never seen many films where he uses his natural accent.
God save me from European accents of all types. I blame that early crush on Davy Jones.

I'm pretty sure that in "Trainspotting" he's also speaking with a Scottish accent, but I could be wrong. It's been ages that I last saw it.

Considering it's set in Edinburgh, I should say so!

Blue and Sherlock, two things I love put together *sigh*

Lovely. Although a bit something different…..
There were also comments here and there lately about Ben's crazy-filled appearance schedule/very dapper shots of events we've seen him at lately… can't imagine doing that kind of stuff so often for work promos, charity, etc.! The boy can party! Loved the Britannia's and that Grey Goose dinner/charity thing (the one where he had the green cardigan under jacket), but don't recall any from GQ's 25th anniversary/Prince's Trust auction event recently. The skull tie strikes again!
Please, won't someone give money to the less fortunate? I'll give you a picture of me the size of this one!

Fine. I'll go back to bed and dream a bit.

Time for the newbie to post here. At the moment I love these 2. Don't know if they were already shown somewhere on the over 1000 pages.

They are lovely. But as a newbie you have to check this thread. Maybe you should take a holiday and start at once. (Joking, you are welcome to join the madness anytime).
