Twelve Years a Slave

So I loved this film, but it was especially wonderful because of Benedict's role, even if it was a minor one. His southern accent was pretty spot on, though some of his vowels had a slight British construct to them, and he was just so much fun to watch. 

It's a splendid movie without Benedict, so you all should see it. A very heartbreakingly real rendition of slave life in the United States' South. I am from Georgia myself, though my family was too poor to be anything but Irish maids and manservants, but it had me appalled that anyone could treat another human like that.

Massively...massively excited with the anticipation of seeing this film. I am a MASSIVE Steve McQueen & Michael Fassbender (3rd film they have made together) fan...so this is just...

But I am taking tissues with me...
