Re: 50 year old fan girl.

Fandom Progress Report:

All episodes watched repeatedly.
Purchased Series 1 and 2 on DVD.
Watched Pilot episode and listened to all commentaries.
Purchased Casebook.  Drooled on it.,
Watched Third Star.  Subsequent emotional breakdown briefly slowed fandom progress.
Watched To The Ends of the Earth.  Stunned speechless by BC's naked ass.
Watched Fortysomething.   Ovaries severly damaged by adorable BabyBatch
Purchased Wreckers for future viewing.
Constructed shrine to BC on desk at work.
Now following outragous number of Sherlock boards on Pinterest.
Rewatched all my Martin Freeman movies.  Sprained something with over enthusiastic squeeing.
Routed for the villian in a Star Trek movie for the first tie in my Trekkie life.
Converted sister to fandom during annual 4th of July visit.
Reviewed every single sodding page of the Favorite BC picture thread.  Wore out thudding mattress.
Started refereing to BC as my New Boyfriend in casual conversation.
After less than two months of posting have obtained status as Adler's Whip.

Ok.  That should be enough to be going on with.  So who's in charge of grading around here?

Re: 50 year old fan girl.

Have actually used brit words for years.  Sarted using them a lot when my kids werfe little to avoid "really swearing" in front of them.  More than a tad hypocritical I know.

Re: 50 year old fan girl.

Welcome! I could be your older sister or something. Maybe. *shrug*  Anyway, I'm quite a bit older than you. No worries about age here. I've been hanging here for a year or so, and I can very rarely spot anyone's age-- it's almost spooky how we all blend into an amalgamated group of Sherlockians.Have you checked out the Johnlock fan fic thread? I started that a few months ago, and it's had more hits than most of the threads on the board. There are a *lot* of Johnlockers here. When I started the thread, I thought I was all alone, lol. Nothing could be further from the truth. Also please come and check out the Benedict Cumberbatch picture thread. We all have our mattresses set up to fall down and thud on when we get overwhelmed by the beauty of His Fineness. Smelling salts, snacks, comfy pillows, I even set up a cold shower nearby where I can go soak my head when I need to cool down. It's a fun thread. We're a silly crowd, but deadly serious about the Batch!Beauty.Welcome!

You hit the nail on the head . This is something there , and I think it's a good idea. Totally agree with you .

Oh Lord! I now have a 6th sense: even when I see the user names, that they are going to be Spammers! Waits patiently, twiddling thumbs!
