OH, I'm sure tobe likes the pic!
And for you and your male colleague may I recommend a pic of Sherlock and Irene?Take a nice cutie pic of Ben, frame it and put it on your desk. You can tell everyone he's your boyfriend, your husband's rival or your brother.... whatever's appropriate, lol.
Yes, next to the picture of my dog, which is the only photo I have in the office at the moment ... priorities.
A Sherlock and Irene pic is a good idea, especially if a riding crop is involved. I could pin it to my colleague's wall and it wouldn't even look suspicious between all his horseriding pictures.

Well, I feel very proud that you now have a picture I posted pinned to your office wall. Even if you don't like it and it is behind you.
It would be so cool if I could pin a Benedict picture to my office wall, too, or anything Sherlock related, but I doubt that my (male) colleague would approve of that.

Would it be wrong to complain in the Free Rants thread that the Favourite Ben Pics thread is too hard to keep up with?
I wouldn't say wrong, but I'm afraid it would not change anything.

But he asks the dying cabbie if he chose the right one. I got the imrpression he needed confirmation, although, being Sherlock, he might have just wanted to receive some acknowledgement or admiration. We know how much he likes John to tell him how brilliant traditional meaning) he is.
Yes, right, I forgot about his question. But then again, the cabbie dies. It would not be like Sherlock to do an analysis in the lab, which would probably take a lot of time, only to be able to run around and tell everybody about the outcome. It was only important for the moment. Perhaps he even fears that it could undermine his self-confidence if he turned out to have chosen the wrong one, so it might be better not to know.
(That's just my opinion, of course. And I could probably make up ten thousand other reasons if you want me to. )

I am disappointed Sherlock didn't pocket the pill and analyze it chemically to see if he was right.
So am I! I thought it was Sherlock's nature to get to know the truth, especially taking into account his willingness to prove his being wiser than the others, so I was highly disappointed that he ignored the pills analyzing.
Perhaps he was so convinced to have chosen the right one that he didn't even bother to analyse them anymore? He is sure, he doesn't care what people think, the cabbie is dead, so there is no need to prove anything. Everybody else is not sure at all, of course. John thinks Sherlock is completely mad and a danger to himself.

Lestrade could probably use an Anti Sherlock-Diebstahl System.

QE: Yes, it's very hard to bear, isn't it? Do you know the video that belongs to the story? Be warned:
Horserider, I think she'll need some more pics after watching this.
Oh, that was even worse. But also very well-made, I have to say. I'll keep it in mind for occasions when I have to remind myself that I am not a machine and my heart is not made of stone. *wiping tears away* Thank you, I'm all distraught and confused now.

So I read that Alone on the Water story and ... yeah. It's not easy to make me cry but THAT. WAS. CRUEL.
Let's see if I can find a nice picture to make it better.
*sobs* Well.

Worse then Alone on the Water?
I don't know, I haven't read that one yet, only that everybody says it is very sad. Where can I find it? Just to see if it is tearier than mine (read: for science) ...

I will report my progress.
Good idea. I just made myself cry by writing an extremely sad fanfiction story (how did that happen? ) and I will try if it helps.

Yay, I'm not the only one.
You know, I really wish he would stop smoking - it is unhealthy and horrible and all that - but it looks good.
