I know he's extraordinary & his adventures are supposed to be outrageous but was there any point where you went: What the? Oh, never mind. It's Sherlock, what was I expecting?

Also it would be on a continuum so if you were to rank the episodes, which one would have the highest what-the? factor and which one the lowest?

I love that John is being forced into a Judas role - not the betraying Sherlock bit; but the identifying Sherlock bit because he's apparently the only witness to Sherlock's death. And Anderson gets the part of st peter. Everything's topsie turvy.

I don't think I'd have it any other way. I did expect violence. I guess the distinction lies in repeated violence. I didn't expect there to be repeated violence but I think in the context of that episode, it's forgivable. The tone is completely funny & childish so the reunion is part of that silliness. In the context of HLV, it would be out of place because that is a more serious episode.

I think we can all agree that Ben's parents are lovely

I don't think it's a sstrange thing to have very loving parents & unemotional children. I am a good example. I am not unemotional but I am a minimalist in terms of expressing emotion to others. I am also not particularly observant so I sometimes catch on people's emotional state more slowly than others. My parents were very loving (& obsessive) when I was a child so I should have grown up to be a drama queen but I'm not. I prefer not to be overly emotional. It also doesn't mean that I don't feel emotions; merely that I suck @ expressing them.

Tell us something about yourself (you could be lying) & we have to guess if it is true or false.

For example: I am a food seperatist. I scoop out my cream firsr & then I drink my coffee or hot chocolate. I have the same fruits and vegetables found in salad but I consume them grouped and side by side.

True or false?

Both Holmeses feel that way about not just love but all emotions. This is evident in the fact that Sherlock doesn't particularly hate anyone either. He gets annoyed with people, he thinks they're boring but when push comes to shove he doesn't voice any hatred of them in the same way that he never professes love to them. There's two ways of understanding strong emotions such as love & hate: 1. Magical & defining as a human trait; 2. Chemical processes in the mind that's no different to any other process & is not unique to only humans. I believe that Sherlock follows 2.

Pudding: Ginormous pie consumed @ xmas. From the root "put" coz you can put a lot of stuffing in pudding. Over time putting mutated  into pudding coz people got confused & found pudding to be easier to pronounce - leading to the myth that the root of pudding is pud. Attempts to define what "pud" is have been so far unsuccessful.

I don't have a problem with people expressing opinion about the show as long as they don't infer real life from the show. Example: Sherlock thinks that capital punishment is a good thing, therefore Benedict or Mark or Steven must be a supporter of capital punishment in real life.

It's ok to have an option about the show itself wwithout inferring real life from it.
