Ern...Sherlock has to ' commit suicide', to save his friends.
Yeah, but he didn't know that his friends were in potential danger before he had the chat with Moriarty on the roof.
Are you sure? I think it's safe to say that Sherlock has considered everything Moriarty could possibly use against him long before meeting him on the rooftop. He must have realised that his few friends were high on top of that list.
Pretty much this ^, knowing Sherlock, he would've at least known (or suspected) something...he might not have known everything, but I believe he must've known that his friends would somehow be in danger and prepared for that possibility, also knowing his own life could potentially be at risk from Moriarty as well. Still, knowing Sherlock, he probably knew a lot more than he let on in the show.

THUD! *misses the mattress entirely*You have to angle your mattress just right and be prepared for thudding at all times when this thread is open, so you won't be caught unawares. Don't worry. With experience, you'll get good at it. Or you might just decide to stay down there to begin with, which I have found is easier. *pats cat, eats snacks*
I still haven't gotten the hang of that yet...I keep missing , gah! Benedict Cumberbatch...why do have to be so alluring?
General Benedict Appreciation » What Shakespearean roles would you like to see him in? (Not Hamlet!) » May 24, 2013 1:47 pm |
I think he could do a good job playing Richard the III , and for something more comedic I think it would be interesting to see him in Much Ado About Nothing!
Personally my favourite comedic Shakespeare play, I could see him playing either Don John, Don Pedro or Benedick.
@SusiGo. An audiobook with sonnets? With that voice? Hmmm...gimme gimme gimme!!!!!

I do that too, DragonB, but it's usually because I'm reading fanfic (mostly Johnlock)![]()
and can't stop.
Ah, I've been doing that as well lately, there are some talented fans out there . I just finished reading a novel-length Johnlock fan fic, it was quite good.

You can't make a good show about Sherlock without John right there, by his side :D

Wonderful pics, something to dream of tonight!
Mmmhmm ...should I dream of Sherlock, I hope it's better than the last one I had, he was this creepy morph of Sherlock/Harrison/Zombie
and he was battling with just his Sherlock self on a pedestal in the middle of the Thames in a hybrid of 19th and 21st century London...it was interesting, but boy did it creep me out

Tonight's towel business made me think of the pool scene. How often would you come across scenes with pools involved but without any towels?
So - there.
Now I'm going to read something philosophical by a guy - what was his name again? John Locke...Good night!
Ah the pool scene...honestly, one of my favourite scenes in both seasons so far

Hehe, I thought the same thing when I started reading this topic, had to go find out at least some spoilers so I would have a vague idea of what the hell these words are referring to! Now I know a little bit...gah! Why must season 3 take so long to come out???
I have to wait for it on DVD...even longer! *goes insane*

I don't care for muscles at all, to be honest. I love the slender, skinny, somehow fragile so much more.So I don't really get why everyone is freaking out about the shower scene, I only laugh about his expression but it doesn't appeal to me otherwise..
Then you definitely will not want to see Ben in the ST movie.
I guess I just enjoy seeing him do his craft; he's such a marvelous actor. A lot of actors are just personalities and have no real talent, but Ben has a way of using his own face and body and voice to embody different characters, and I find it fascinating. When I saw the ST movie the other day, I completely forgot about Sherlock; the man is just that talented.
I haven't gotten a chance to see STID yet, REALLY looking forward to it , I would've been excited even if Benedict wasn't in it, but a while back when I found out he is in it...that was the icing on the cake for me!
