So, I don't want this picture to seem out of place, since we're mostly on this topic to admire how sexy Benedict is while this picture is just pure adorable fluff and a bit unrelated to the other pics here, but I thought it's really cute so I'm going to post it.

Little Benedict:

Awww...

We actually don't know if he's really alive or not. If it turns out that he is, I'd agree with you. It's one thing to evade questions misdirect your audience by fimling fake scenes, and another to outright lie to them.

I'd be quite disappointed if Jim turns out to be alive, actually. I love Andrew Scott, of course, and his Moriarty if fantastic, but... he died. If everyone fake their death, it's not interesting anymore. Irene, Sherlock, and now Moriarty?

Oh yes, you definitely should do that, I'd love to see it!

And some more hand action...

Is it weird that I find his hands particularly attractive?
 Also, this:

Aw, look at his laugh linesWhat's a better kind of line to have on your face than laugh lines? His entire face shines when he smiles.

It's not a deliberate decision, just pure Benedict. In ASiB commentary, whenever Sherlock twiddles things (Irene's phone, a gun, that pepper spray), Benedict exclaims, "Another twiddle. I've got to stop twiddling things!"

But I'm not going to write it out of my mind beause it's not in the script. I mean, BC is Sherlock while filming. His behaviour becomes Sherlock's on set. So, I think he twiddles things for the same reason he just walks over the coffee table or strides around instead of normal walking, or jumps out of his seat instead of simply getting up. He's just energetic like that.

Unfortunately (or tragically, if I want to be melodramatic) I'd accidentally read a spoiler of TEH and HLV, so I knew that the scene at the beginning is just Anderson's theory. It was completely ruined for me. *wistful sigh*

But I think I would've either been speechless with disbelief or realized immediately that something was up if I hadn't read that goddamn spoiler. Because we saw what was happening to Sherlock in TRF. We saw that nothing was attached to him, at least not something large enough for us to see. Most likely I would've been angry ("WHAT? NO! YOU CAN'T DO THAT! YOU EXPECT ME TO BELIEVE THIS TRIPE?") up until The Hair Ruffle (yes, with capital letters). That was far too dramatic to be real.

Something funny just occured to me. You know how the cast sit together and read the script for the first time, out loud and in charachter?
Well, in one of those "extra" videos from (I think) Uncovering Sherlock, we see them in one of those sessions for TEH, and Moffat is telling them, "This is the big reveal. Please, keep it to yourself. Don't even tell your loved ones." and they proceed to read. Later, when Rupert Graves says, "Bollocks!", everyone burst out laughing. I just wonder what were they thinking while reading the script up until that point. They didn't have the sexy soundtrack or the dramatic air of the whole thing to tip them off.

As for the awesome Christmas scene ("Someone's put a bullet in my boy", sniff, sniff), if Mycroft is Mikey, I wonder if Sherlock was Billy growing up?

Maybe he was "Sherl"? XD
As in, "Surely you can't be serious?"
"I am serious, and stop calling me Shirey!"

*clears throat*
My sister said she doesn't like Benedict Cumberbatch. I sent her this:

Aww... How can you look at that face and not melt?

Oh, the entire Christmas with the Holmes'. Not only the dialogues are fantastic, but just thinking about how... domestic they're all acting cracks me up. Not to mention the fact that we KNOW from ASiP that they call their mother "Mummy".)

Mummy: Mikey, is this your laptop? (SHE CALLS HIM MIKEY!! Ahahaha!)
Mycroft: Upon which depends the security of the free world, yes, and you've got potatos on it.
-You shouldn't leave it around if it's so important. (Like she's talking about his homework! XD)

Mummy: *completely exasperated*: "We are here because Sherlock is home from hospital and we're all very happy!"
Mycroft : *big smile*: Am I happy, too? I haven't checked."

"Behave, Mike!" (Someone just told the mighty Mycroft  to "behave"! If she can say that to Mycroft, she can make Chuck Norris eat his vegtables.)
"Mycroft is the name you gave me. If you could possibly struggle all the way to the end."

"ARE YOU TWO SMOKING?"
"No!"
"It was Mycroft!"
(Look at their expressions and body stances! Two times funnier when you remember that she's Benedict's real mother.)

"Punch me in the face."
"Punch you?"
"Yes; in the face. Didn't you hear me?"
"I always hear 'punch me' when you're speaking. But it's usually subtext."

"Aaaah, Hudders."

Sherlock: "Now, onto some funny stories about John." *sees everyone sniffling and wiping their eyes* "What's wrong? What happened? Why are you all doing that? John? Did I do it wrong?"  (His tone gets to me every time.)

John: Can you whisper?
Lestrade: NOT REALLY!

John: *to Irene*: Could you put something on, please? Anything at all. A napkin? *offers her his napkin*

The part where Sherlock shoos his parents out of the door and looks absolutely mortified, like a teenager caught shopping with his parents by a classmate. XD

Also, Christmas at 221B when Sherlock says, "It was me." (the moan that was his text tone.). Molly and Lestrade's expressions are just brilliant.

Anderson: "Rache. It's German for revenge."
Sherlock: Yes

Hi everyone! I'm Jasmine; a fellow Sherlock addict. :3 I'm so glad I found this forum so I can talk and exchange Sherlockian ideas with people.

I've been browsing through topics for a few days, but I didn't get around to actually registering until today. It's been fun nevertheless.

Guuuuys! I'm much more excited than I have any reason to be. I've just being going MAD recently, with all the ideas (and generally things I want to say about Sherlock) floating around my head, with nowhere to discuss them. I don't know why it didn't occur to me sooner to find an online forum.
