The Sign of Three » Was CAM at the Wedding??...Jim, from IT? » January 11, 2014 1:40 am

Consider we saw Moriarty as Jim from IT.  He met Sherlock, while Sherlock was working on Moriarty's case.   The bad guys always push the line of being caught... guess that's what gets them off.

So.... was CAM (Redbeard?) at the wedding to watch the reaction to his telegram?  And walk the line of being caught?

I know Mary knows CAM... but with a bit of a disguise????

Or was CAM somewhere (somebody) else in the story???
Just a thought.

"a ridiculous man"? who said that? I'll cut them where they stand.
HUH? what? Sherlock said that?.... um well... never mind.

(to the tune of.. "do indeed shut up Mrs. Hudson")
He is in fact, a ridiculous man.

THREE fast shots of food being devoured..... THREE creme puffs on desert plate.

The Empty Hearse » The theory he told Anderson - The actual answer?? » January 10, 2014 1:56 am

True story......Nope!
Sherlock can't tell Watson the Anderson Theory.... Too much time in the militarty, he would know a rifle with a scope is NOT what you use in a stairwell.

I know, I know... he was a Doctor..... "And a soldier, as you keep reminding us"

Sherlock talking with Tessa.... John, Hamish, Watson... three names and Sherlock counts to three on his fingers.

My husband is THREE people...THREE mole patterns...
Sherlock deduces Triplets... THREE Fellas.....

(Sorry. I'll get my coat.)

Besides your coat... I believe that kind of humor is "a bit of a punt"

To redeem myself. At the beginning of the reception the photographer takes photos of three subjects in a row; Molly, Lestrade and Mrs Hudson. On each occasion he clicks the shutter 3 times.

Right... and of course the THREE of them standing in front of the church for a picture.... until Sherlock was "uninvited"

"I will be there for all THREE of you"
Then when they are talking, he says "the sign of THREE" implying "with child"

Gatiss confirms it was 'blud'. Its 'street' for brother/best friend; and used as a compliment.

I think this was Sherlocks way of thanking his brother.

THANK YOU THANK YOU
It's been bugging me... and the answer makes me smile... please tell "Sir Gatiss" that the humor was well done... after the education was complete...us "Yanks" don't speak PROPER English... so ya know we are "slanging it" anyway...

Bank robbers carried THREE gold bars each..... I'm just saying, there was a lot of 3's

The Sign of Three » Did anybody count the 3's in the Sign of Three?? » January 8, 2014 9:52 am

I'm starting my list... not just random stuff... I'm talking actual 3's
Like when Sherlock warns Mary's exboyfriend about texting and meeting with Mary...
Sherlock says "you volunteered to be a shoulder to cry on, no less than THREE times".   Then Sherlock tells him..."downgrade, no more than THREE social visits a year... with John present"
There are more... I'm starting a list... see if we can find them all.
Aren't these writers clever?

p.s.
THREE bank robbers in the family clan.

Thank you everybody... I think that you have answered it.
I thought it was odd... but being the "Yank" that I am... sometimes I'm at a disadvantage.
Cheers!

Subtitles said "blud". They really did.

Not sure who's subtitles... the subtitles on netflix have all kinds of wrong words.... oh brother... some are just shtupid.

Any place online to see the script???  It's after debute, so it could be out there? available??

The Empty Hearse » Jealous? » January 8, 2014 8:29 am

I think it's John "dogging" Sherlock.....  Molly says.."you're on to something" Sherlock says "maybe" and John says "show off".... because he is.
Molly says " male 40-50...." and Sherlock steps in, Molly says sorry, Sherlock says "no, be my guest"...
Then Molly starts to run down the info she has collected... and Sherlock holds his tongue... until... he can't stand it, and probably is worried if he doesn't chime in, that he won't be able to say "I knew that" after the fact.... and says "6 months old" in unison with Molly... gotta keep his power trip going.
Then John dogs him about forgetting to "turn up his collar"  and such... all the things that Sherlock remembers, and Hates and Loves about John....
Just my humble opine

In the subtitles of the episode the word was blud. My favorite online dictionary says it means brother. Is that right?

OK, so if it's Blud (brother).... that's not much in character for what he would say..... would it???
