The Science Of Deduction » The science of deduction is more elusive than I thought. » October 14, 2013 2:17 am

Have you guys seen the Chase Hughes site? It's by far the closest I've come to seeing the same deductive methods.  The Joe Navarro books are good for this as well.

As with the types of tobbacco and whatnot, the national forensics labs publish a lot of that stuff in pdf.

I'm glad someone started ths post. I think I MISTAKENLY posted this into another topic.

Great photos. I loved the violin with Doyle's name. I wonder if it's original (his).
Thanks for posting.

I think he would fare well with an Oxford educated psychologist who part-times as a dungeon mistress with a penchant for light reading about surgical procedures.

The mistress lady from CSI comes to mind. She is the only match I can think of for SH.

Random Sherlockiana » Reading People and Body Language » October 14, 2013 2:03 am

So since my first Holmes experience in the early eighties, I've always wanted to read people like SH. I'm also addicted to the mentalist and a few other shows that heavily feature this skill in the protagonist.

I've read a lot of books on it, like the body language ones on amazon and such. It's hard to find some resource to get into it.

The David Givens site doesn't offer much more than that, but he seems to have a few things that might on his blog. Any thoughts?

I saw the Chase Hughes site that has a ton of Sherlockian people-reading stuff...looks complex and detailed. If anyone has the book, I'd love to hear about it.

Basically,
Does anyone here have the same cravings as me? Is the SH ability purely fiction?

This reminds me of the Chase Hughes website. I saw some sherlock people profiling cheat sheet on there and it's so much like SH.
I'd be pinned as a control freak...instantaneously. My clothes and I'm sure everything else would give me away. Don't know if i can share the link on here.

Wait,
I just now saw everyone saying I'm not real. I literally just now pinched myself and it hurt....so, I suppose I am, unless we are speaking in a quantum mechanics sense.....in which case....Shit. Maybe I'm not.
