I just realised it's 15 years (and a day) since the first episode of Series 1! I'm thinking of celebrating with a rewatch over the next few weeks.

I was late to the game, and only joined this forum 11 years and one month ago!

Yeah, because the show has just recently been repeated on TV, I took the chance to  rewatch the whole series.
It still looks good!

Wow! 15 years! Even though I came to the show kind of late (10 and a half years ago, wow!), I remember when it first came out. It sure is something to think how much time has passed since it all started.

It's been so long since the show last aired on TV, and we all know there'll never be another episode.  All of us have fond memories of the show.

At least we can rewatch any time! And there are still some resources out there, like Arianne De Vere's excellent transcripts. Sherlockology is sadly missed though!

I hadn't realized (or maybe I'd forgotten) that Sherlockology is no more. That is indeed unfortunate.

While I haven't rewatched the series in a while, over the past year I've seen a lot more posts about it on Tumblr than I have in a while, which is nice. I don't know if it's old fans rediscovering it or a new wave, but it's nice to see.

That's interesting that you're seeing more! I'm not on Tumblr but I've been seeing more Sherlock related stuff pop up on my feeds. I'm wondering if it's now being seen as an old classic. It's really nice to think that there might be new younger (or older!) fans discovering it now. It reminds me of when I was young and used to watch the old Basil Rathbone films.

Anyway, my ful rewatch didn't really happen as I've had a lot on, but I have been going back and rewatching selected bits and pieces recently.

Yeah, either way it's nice to see (especially since there seemed to be some people hating on it for a while).

Even if it's taking you some time, that sounds like fun.
