Your know you ware obsessed with Sherlock when you drive to another supermarket with your 13-year-old son who has prepared some yellow post-its with you know what on it and sticks them on a crisps packet, biscuits, a garden swing, a Coke bottle and the freezer cabinet  .

You suddenly shout "Pink!" while looking for your keys in the morning... when you realize they are in the pocket of your pink jacket.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was worth a wound–it was worth many wounds–to know the depth of loyalty and love which lay behind that cold mask. The clear, hard eyes were dimmed for a moment, and the firm lips were shaking. For the one and only time I caught a glimpse of a great heart as well as of a great brain. All my years of humble but single-minded service culminated in that moment of revelation.

You know you are obsessed with Sherlock if you watch this series every evening until 1am.next day, even if you know that your baby will certainly wake up at 2 am and will stay awake until 5 am

Stupid, so stupid.

... if your husband is hiding away your dvd's

... if you search for youself an archenemy, just to see what it is like ..

... if you write your postings in English, even though your English is really bad.

Oh, I also use post-its and put them on Sherlock-related stuff I find in the city!

I recently walked past a building which said "Holmes place". I was definitely shocked! It seems to be a fitness studio.

...erm, if you try to put a bit of Sherlock into everything.
So, at school I have a subject on forensics and I had a talk and of course I slipped some information about him into it. Or in English class (apparently the only opportunity to speak English) I try to put quotes of Sherlock into everything I say. Or we have this project where we have to write music for a detective story and I was like: "Well, we could look at some Sherlock Holmes music and let ourselves be inspired by that... I mean, it's a detective story after all."

It's not bad! What's your native language? Or maybe you're referring to someone else?

If you watch the original version, the german one sounds really awful!!!

Well, good thing your English is excellent. And good thing you don't have to miss Benedict's voice.

Yes, I'm so glad that there are such things as DVDs. The German version is not bad but it doesn't capture the very special atmosphere and style of the original.

When you see Benedict Cumberbatch in another movie and you yell OMG WHYS SHERLOCK IN THIS MOVIE. AND WHY IS HE IN A BLONDE WIG.

Mum: Why are you doing that.
Me: Because Sherlock Holmes did it.
Mum: If Sherlock Holmes jumped of a building, would-
Me: WHY? WHY? *Sobbing

But isn't that normal behaviour for most kitty cats, not just the Sherlocked ones?

You know you're obsessed with Sherlock when...

You're an american, and you start   referring to your mom,  as your mum.

You upgrade your television because you are afraid you might miss something while re-watching the series, for the 10th time!

Yeah, I saw him in Miss Marple and was just like 'Huh?' But I suppose he's allowed to do a few other things (as much as we want to, we can't have him all to ourselves!!)

How could she say that to you? How cruel! Mums are so naive.

I was wondering if you'd like to have coffee...
Hmm. I really don't know. Oh, I'm sorry, did I say 'know'? I meant 'care'. I don't really care.

It was "Murder is easy".

John: "Have you spoken to Mycroft, Molly, uh, anyone?"
Mrs Hudson: "They don’t matter. You do."

I BELIEVE IN SERIES 5!

I was just wondering, have there been any modern Miss Marple adaptation?

Don't make people into heroes John. Heroes don't exist and if they did I wouldn't be one of them.

Wait. What? Isn't Benedict Cumberbatch one of Sherlock's disguises?

Of course it is. That's why he came up with such an unusual name.
