I know that many of you have been to BFI Southbank screenings and talks. Could you please help me with a couple of newbie questions?

Do you know how to get to the red carpet area? Where is it situated, do people need special tickets for it? Or is there a meet and greet after the panel? Would you advise to arrive well in advance?
