I don't have words right now.
Maybe a bit later. Maybe I am a bit heartbroken.

That was very SAW-like! O.o
What a family!

I'm actually please with parentlock and Mary's "You are what you are" (or something like that) - so Moftiss went for ambiguity! There was that teyt Sherlock sent ("You now where to find me. SH") - could be Irene or a client or even Mycroft (since Mary's voiceover is about getting help at 221B).

I'm shocked and pleased at the same time. Wow.

Wow!  I loved it!  And now I see what they mean about it feeling like the end of an era, and the story they've been telling all along.   Funnily enough, it was quite different to everything that has gone before and yet tied up the loose ends, and completed the story.

Despite the effin' stream stopping several times, and making me miss the last minute...

I'm just... WOW! My heart rate is through the roof; I was crawling to sit right against the screen; cuddling the life out of my teddy.

This was... HOLY MOLY!!

And Molly... no... this... aaaaargh!

Also, could someone tell me, since I can't make iplayer work, and netflix doesn't upload until after midnight...

Was it said it was the end??

No, it wasn't expressly stated but it felt so. The boys are off to solve a case again.

Carefully asking... is there anyone like me who didn't like it much? Because... I didn't.

Why did they even bring up Irene Adler again?

Nope nope nope, I'm so done now.
It will take time to order my thoughts. This was a hellish ride, an episode that will not be easy to rewatch.

I have drank an entire bottle of wine and I am having hot flashes.
I am hearbroken and overjoyed at the same time.
We had tragedy and pain but were left with hope.
I can't think straight but after being so nervous and upset before seeing TFP for myself all I can do is keep repeating I LOVED IT!!!!!!

Same here. It didn't convince me on various levels. And to start at the end: Having Mary speak what seem to be the final words (at least for now) is just a huge NOPE for me.

Vhanja posted hers just seconds after me, I think!  Unfortunately I can't merge them - I don't think I have admin rights on the S4 part.  Maybe one of the other mods can do it?

Or maybe easiest if we just copy over there.

I have never said that after a Sherloch episode, but I'm not sure whether I liked it or not. There were nice scenes and the ending was sweet. But that whole middle part in "Sherrinford" I wasn't sure if that was brilliant or really bad writing. I can't really decide that at the moment. There was even a time I had tears in my eyes because I thought "what have they done to that show"! and a part of me hoped it would be a mindpalace thing.

Then I cried because I wasn't sure he'd really shoot Mycroft although I kinda knew he isn't able to. That part where Mycroft told Sherlock to shoot John to make Sherlock angry was predictable, but in a weird way sweet of Mycroft.

And after that end I'm really not sure why it should be continue?! They can't start solving crimes like they used to. It would be a step backwards.

So Mary basically told them they belong together?! Johnlockers sharpen your pencils....

Actually,I think I must rewatch it first as it was confusing and crazy sometimes (and also in original as the dubbing sounds strange and spoils the impression). I think it will be better when I know what is real .

Cannot say I did not like it but..i am a bit disappointed. TLD was much better .

Loved it! What a ride! I can't remember last time a show left me this gutted and drained - always a good sign.

And it was left more open-ended and ambigious than I thought it would, with room for Parentlock!

"That's why he stays!"

Hold your horses with parentlock, we don't know whether he actually texted Irene, you know. I KNEW Moftiss would go for ambiguity. Devious bastards.
