Good idea for a thread. I LOVE the Holmes brothers' interactions - they become 12-years old, the both of them.

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

He faces death and doesn´t even flinch. even if it lead to tragic rsults, I love his determined stance here:

Mycroft is surprisingly charming in this episode, isn't he?

My favorite gif is
It is from this gifset: http://cumberbatchlives.tumblr.com/post/154519959052/new-sherlock-clip-from-the-one-show-bbc-december, and I love this smile... We just need to remember, that this is Sherlock, who, of course, is the genius, but still, his social skills are close to null. But this time he was joking, and it was funny, and he made his friends smile, and John liked it... Sherlock looks so happy, and so proud of himself. It is both: charming, and heartbreaking.

It is pretty old trick: to make some character nicer, when something terrible is going to happend to him
Whatever is looming, I hope Mycroft to survive it.

Yup, it's a devious trick of story-telling! And it scares me!

This one... I can't watch it enough, and certainly not without giggling

Should we start a "the fear of losing Mycroft" therapy group!?

The bullet headed right for Sherlock, it breaks my heart that he didn't even try to jump out of the way.

Sherlock and the baby.  I adore the fact that he calls her Watson!!

I might use the phrase "you fail to connect actions to their consequences" with my young nieces

Heartbreakingly cute to heartbreakingly sad moments in TST!

I posted these in the Ben thread already but had to post again because he looks so adorable.
