Eventually everyone will support Johnlock.   Independent OSAJ Affiliate

... but there may be some new players now. It’s okay. The East Wind takes us all in the end.

Ah, OK. Thank you, Harriet.
I do know about how the pendulum was used to prove that the earth rotated, but I didn't know the name attached to it.

Clueing for looks.

Eco is dead? Nooooo....!

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Both really sad. The Name of the Rose is a stunning book. I absolutely loved reading it- devoured it voraciously actually.

Don't make people into heroes John. Heroes don't exist and if they did I wouldn't be one of them.

And now also Jon English. Not sure if anyone here have heard about him, but he was an English-born Australian musician and actor who became very popular in Norway after starring in the tv series "Against the Wind". He was my very first celeb crush, I was 13 years old.

I guess it's a sign of growing old, when more and more of your old heroes pass away.

Just googled him, Vhanja. I know him from the Australian TV series "All together now" that was on German TV, too.
Have to tell my father, he loved that show.

I just heard on the news that the relativly famous German jazz singer Roger Cicero died. I wasn't a fan but liked his music and I am a bit shocked about this. He was just 45 years old. Very sad.

I wasn't a fan of him but it's still shocking. No cancer this time, but equally horrible, a stroke,

No fan of him but a bit shoked as well. So unexpected and sad.

Clever, funny and lovely man...lived to a good age.
I'm possibly more of a Barker girl.

Douglas Wilmer, one of Sherlock Holmes actors, passed away. What a pity!

This year has been unreal for those we've lost so far and it's still only April!
Mark paid a wonderful tribute to the lovely Victoria Wood yesterday and now Prince has gone.
Loved him.
