Anyone else blown away by season 1? Anyone watching season 2?

I am watching Season 2.  A lot of people are deeply dissapointed in the first two episodes but I have found them interesting.
Not as fantastic as the first series no, but I still want to see where the story goes.

I don't know why they are so deeply disappointed. I think the whole premise of this season is very promising. Always hard for a second season following on from such a strong first season. Often first seasons are not that strong and it is easier for the second to improve on it.
