Tecnically speaking this is not "fan" art. A friend of mine made it for me as a post-post-christmas present. She doesn't even know the show but asked me for links with pictures so she could choose which one to draw. isn't it lovely???

Mmm…. Nice…. Yes, nicely styled… although I agree creepy and a little bit incongruous. A bed of flowers?? Perhaps the mystery/'whoah-wait-a-minute' moment for the characters is how the hearse /got/ empty after that? But nah… I always figured it more like Mycroft to skip over the wake/open casket entirely. Besides… we all know this is the 'wake up' scene that's more likely (and very happily watched, if flash-backed to…. ;) ;)) Wow... I just love the feel of this.....

I know!!!! Hee... ahem, sorry. Just really really enjoy that pic, too. Perfect mood, her use of color/lighting- love how the characters are highlighted by the dark foreground and bright door, and the kind of scene so many of us are picturing.... seriously, check her website... some really good art!
