Sorry if this is the wrong place...

But you can stream the world premiere coverage here... and from the start too if you were late like me!

Ben comes on at around 57 minutes...

Thank you, you are a treasure!

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

This isn't about the world premiere, but it is about The Hobbit, and there doesn't seem to be a better place to put it:

Smaug was on Colbert. Really.

Holy…. cow..!!      I wonder how that worked in the studio?
Awesome idea for Colbert… kinda wondered, being the fanboy who always had some awesome movie/Tolkien related stuff on his show, what he'd get to do this time around...

Just this morning you were all tiny and small and made of clay!

I'm working my way up the greasy pole.  It's… very greasy.  And…  pole-shaped.

Way to go Smaug!     Really loved his comments about Sherlock,  and about Martin Freeman
being a 'little little little little' man.
