I think I used my words wrong... that happens when you don't sleep. I did mean a dark movie with comedic elements to lighten the mood. Sorry for the confusion!

Dr. Strange starts out as a brilliant, arrogant surgeon. His hands are distroyed in a horrible accident and he spends all his wealth traveling the world looking for some way to restore them.

My opinion - if people post about a film that is in the making right now, one has to expect spoilers. One may choose to visit the thread or not. Please tell me if you agree with this or if you want to open a new thread. But then we have to decide what constitutes a spoiler and what not. Seems a bit complicated to me. Feel free to use the spoiler function anytime if you wish to.

We have more than once opened threads for people who had seen a film/stage production which I think is a better policy.

In my opinion we don't need another thread. After all, this film is also based on a comic, and even if the comic isn't common knowledge the information is out there for everyone to find.
I agree with opening a new thread once the film has been released for the 'real' discussion about the movie. Until then it should be clear that this thread here contains everything from rumours to spoilers.

Could be for special effects, could be gloves, could also be some kind of elastic, therapeutic tape people often use when they've sprained something (this comes in all sorts of colours).
I think it's save to say that these scenes take place after his accident and before he finds a cure (or whatever you wanna call it).

Oh, and can I just say: the fact that he looks absolutely hot in these pics is beyond illegal.

The blue tape/bandage thing is interesting... the blue tape could be for special effects I suppose? but yeah, it also looks like sports tape...
