The very intense scene from "The Illustrious Client," when Holmes is attacked by Baron Gruner's thugs

That fight was nasty... so something gentle is needed after it.

-----------------------------------

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

I honestly don´t remember - too much of this series revolves around bedrooms, or so it seems.

But it´s David Burke who is being roused so the episode took place during the first two seasons of this series.

All the episode was sweet, but that moment with Mrs. Hudson especially so!
