I'm afriad I don't have the power to rewatch the episode right now. Does anyone know whether the limp came back or not? I don't think it did, but I wasn't paying enough attention to be sure.
It didn't. He's not limping in the show. Although we don't actually see him walking before Sherlock comes to him in the restaurant so, I guess it's up to us ;-)
But he doesn't have a cane.

Hmm. I was entertaining the idea that it got bad there for a while after Sherlock died (he did seem to have a bit of trouble when he walked away from the grave) and then went away again as he moved on.
