I got an email (valid link, not from the random advertiser spam) from amazon (coz I'm on their mailing list):
The entry requirements include criteria:
Entrants may not be a national or legal permanent resident of any of the following countries: Burma, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan or Syria.
I know they do it for legal reasons but is the rest of the world that paranoid about contact with above mentioned countries? If the citizens of any nation deserve a chance to win $50 000, it's those six.
It's the first time I've seen it spelled out like this, where a major corporation is saying "let's do business"; "But, if your bosses don't agree with our bosses, you can go get screwed"
