I was SO not expecting this! I mean, chess, ok. Totally a thing I would have imagined. But Operation, really?

And just because I love Mycroft so much and was so thrilled to see him that "much" (still not enough to my taste lol) in this ep!

(and to be honest I hadn't spotted that wink at Mrs Hudson. LOL! Love those brothers even more than before!)

Yes! so did I !! And seeing as the board looks old (plus it is an old design, not the original one from the 60's, but not a recent one either. Well, got mine in the 80's and it looked just the same), I loved to believe one of them has kept this game since their childhood, and I smile fondly while trying to imagine them playing this as kids.

Me too! A great little moment , this episode was filled with great little moments...big moments are good, but they mean little if the undercurrents and subtleties are either crap or non-existent...imo, this was not so in The Empty Hearse

If I was an actress... I couldn't shoot such a scene with him... already one look into his eyes... swoon... before anything else could happen...
