So, I'm sure many of us have some furry friends or family members that we love.  Here are our boys.  We adopted two rats from the rat rescue in our area, and named them Sherlock (black and white) and John (tan and white):






However, about a month ago, John unexpected passed away during the night.  He was 6 months old.  Since rats are very social creatures, we contacted the rescue to see if we could try and find another rat friend for Sherlock, and yesterday, we came home with our newest boy, Mycroft (Dumbo Rat):



All of these boys were rescued from breeders who wanted to breed them for feeder rats (for snakes), so they didn't have the best start in life.  However, they do make great pets and love to be around humans, so we definitely love having them.
