John's moustache seems to have a fan base of it's own. Never before has facial hair taken on a life of it's own and caused so much discussion, therefore, I think it's only fair we name it.

All suggestions to be placed in this thread to be considered.

My 1st suggestion is Winston. Winston Watson - someone suggested that on tumblr and it seemed to fit.

To me, it's the (nameless) Moustache of Mourning.

John: "Have you spoken to Mycroft, Molly, uh, anyone?"
Mrs Hudson: "They don’t matter. You do."

I BELIEVE IN SERIES 5!

I don't have a suggestion.  But I'd like to cast a vote for Hurbert.

I would go for Zebedee, because it was so unexpected.

When I say that I don't find something funny you can be sure that I'm giggling the whole time. I'm just too childish

Actually I don't think the moustache deserves its own name. I hate it. Does anyone know the "I LOVE *picture of moustache*" shirts? I'm always thinking of John when I see them here in Germany.

^ these moustache shirts... I don't get it, too. :o)) wouldn't even wear one if I got paid for it... :o))

Yeah, and a name for this... this thing. No. No. But... Winston Watson - gives me the association of Wilson, the ball in the film 'Castaway' ...and a razor will soon boldly go onto a quest, shaving the dragon... the Hobbit I mean.

In my life I have found two things of priceless worth - learning and loving. Nothing else - not fame, not power, not achievement for its own sake - can possible have the same lasting value. For when your life is over, if you can say 'I have learned' and 'I have loved', you will also be able to say 'I have been happy'.

I'm always tempting to buy one... just because the Sherlock association is so obvious. But then I would hate myself for running around and lying.

Then how about "Larry the leaving moustache" ?

Btw, I've seen those t-shirts and I think this would be a great joke amongst Sherlockians, at least if the moustache grows even more of a reputation.

maybe I will buy one and add the line "as soon as John gets rid of his". THEN I'm marked as a real Sherlockian.
