I've got the book - The Coming of The Fairies by Arthur Conan Doyle.

It actually intrigues me that someone who created the character of Sherlock Holmes should be totally convinced by the (obviously fake) Cottingley Fairy photos. Sherlock certainly wouldn't have! 

Shame they were fake though. I was so into fairies as a little girl.
