Yesterday I posted this and Davina thought we could give it a go and create some titles of our own. The rules are simply - find a new title for an existing book by using words of one syllable only. (This is a nod to the game played in the "Wokingham" episode of Cabin Pressure radio series). A little guesswork included. Here are some examples:

My contribution:

Girl who cheats on guy, feels bad, and jumps in front of train

"To fake the death of one sibling may be regarded as a misfortune; to fake the death of both looks like carelessness." Oscar Wilde about Mycroft Holmes

"It is what it is says love." (Erich Fried)

“Enjoy the journey of life and not just the endgame. I’m also a great believer in treating others as you would like to be treated.” (Benedict Cumberbatch)

A Wild Beast in the Sea or: The Fish that is not a Fish

(oh, just realised that the original second title consists of one-syllable-words anyway  )

Eventually everyone will support Johnlock.   Independent OSAJ Affiliate

... but there may be some new players now. It’s okay. The East Wind takes us all in the end.

Of course we could name the title but guessing's more fun.
Is this the answer for mine? Then it's wrong.

The title's the name of the girl who cheats on guy, feels bad, and jumps in front of train.

Anna Karenina is correct.
Ha, I know this (wonder why). The Decamerone.
Let's see if someone else joins this as well.
Here's an easy one:
"The Spouse of The Man Who Goes Back and Forth in Time"
