They're modernising it & taking pipes out & putting the "gay question" into it, can they please complete the circle by making at least one of the characters er more "spiritually aware" in the Eastern way?

I forgot to add - Daoism! I think Sherlock himself would be very suited to it. If you don't know what Daoism is, we answer the question: "Why did the chicken cross the road?" with "Because it just did! Stop asking questions & get on with it." John is more Zen, he would answer "Why did the chicken cross the road?" with "I hope he makes it - I hope he doesn't get squashed, although judging by the size of the highway he's gotten onto, I know that's very slim chance; but I'm still rooting for him to not get squashed."
