My mother immediately fell in love with the Wallpaper in 221B Bakerstreet and she let me convince her to use this very Wallpaper for one of our rooms... And I was overly happy but then there still remained one problem...

Where do you get the Wallpaper?

Can anyone of you help me? Keeping in mind that I do live in Switzerland and am not willing to pay immense fortunes on delivery and stuff...

I'm sorry... original AND saving money seems to be impossible in this case.
The only source I found so far was this well-known:
http://www.sherlockology.com/props/wallpaper-living-room

But maybe somebody here knows more?
Just today I was searching for a "similar" one ("floral" or "barock"), but never was really satisfied.
http://www.wallandimage.com/tapeten/produkte/kategorie/10/barock-tapeten/

Let me know if you succeed.

It is quite "cheap" there. I wonder if it will arrive ^^.

Right, it's "cheap"

We are going to renovate our living room and I was wondering whether instead of a complete - quite expensive - wall it would be nice to have a bigger piece of the wallpaper in a frame.
So I would try to find some more who are interested and share a roll. Maybe.

Hmm...
I was thinking of a wall in our planned living room.
But it is 4,35m wide and one roll makes 2,08m so we would need 1/4 of one roll and for this only small part of it...
So maybe we could share something?
Just send me a PM

This idea with the frame... hmm... not bad... maybe I would join in a collective shopping???

Well I would need 2 rolls anyway, but only 2,5m of a third one and only about 20cm wide...

The pattern repeats every 62cm so with 2,5m (3 times left) u can make like 1,24m x 1,04m in a frame...

One roll 80 Pounds (not sure about shipping), makes 20 Pounds for 2,5m.

Can I just drag this up again for a moment - did anyone of you actually ever buy it? I was looking for fabric with the same pattern to make a bag from and can't find anything. Now I'm thinking of scanning it and ironing it on. Does anyone actually own that wallpaper and would be willing to spare me some of it? I'm willing to pay for it, of course.

I am still thinking about it, but didn't buy it so far.
Also the shipping costs like hell .

I was considering it again. But the shipping is quite expensive.
How much would you need and where are you located?

Thanks for finding that out and sharing the info. Seems we're not really missing anything. Shame, but good to know before more money gets wasted...
