BUT is it possible for the victim to have done it themselves?!

Appropriately, there seems to be already some mystery surrounding the game:

I disagree. To me, smart has *always* been sexy.

Maybe poor Molly  is the victim?  oh,  perish the thought!!   And Here I was thinking that BBC's Sherlock wouldn't be doing any merchandising....games,  action figures,  etc.   I  hope they do  books  like the dr who franchise is doing.  think how much money they'd get.   I  hope the stars get paid well for this too.

£29.99 is the same as $48.49, I think...
This game looks absolutely brilliant I'm definitely putting that on my Christmas list! (I'm probably a bit old for those now but never mind!!)

I was wondering if you'd like to have coffee...
Hmm. I really don't know. Oh, I'm sorry, did I say 'know'? I meant 'care'. I don't really care.

I, an American, have my copy Yes, Moriarty is the victim. The Suspects and their counterparts are:
Sherlock, (Professor Plum)
John,(Col. Mustard)
Mycroft, (Mrs. Peacock) Which I thought was hilarious and Mark Gatiss HAD to laugh at that.
Mrs Hudson, (Mrs White)
Irene (Ms. Scarlet)
Lestrade. (Mr Green)
I was also bummed that Molly didn't make it in. But I supposed Irene fits Ms. Scarlet better.

The places are 221B, Tower of London, Dartmoor, Baskerville, Battersea, Mrs. Hudson's Kitchen, Irene's Flat, The Swimming Pool and The Lab.

And the weapons are of course, the usual weapons. It plays like normal Cluedo, but this is more fun ;)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
John: "Fantastic."
Sherlock: "Meretricious."
Lestrade: "And happy new year."

"Oh, but we both know that's not quite true"

Of course it is possible for the victim to have done it! After all, we all know Moriarty turned the gun against himself so what's the point of this game?

And is it possible to play alone?

Yeah, got my copy last week but got no one to play with me, too bad!
