Here's an interesting interview; Martin discusses his prosthetic feet and compares Bilbo to a meerkat:

If you can access it, the embedded video of the meerkats is pretty funny.  Plus the article mentions Sherlock!

Martin meets Prince William at the London Premiere of The Hobbit

Perhaps Prince William asked if he can have his ashtray back...

*LOL*

My thought was:

William: thanks for the help with....ehm...the problem....the woman woman!

Martin: You're welcome

The cast plays "F***, Marry and Kill"

http://www.mtv.com/videos/movies/865275/an-unexpected-erotic-journey-with-the-cast-of-the-hobbit.jhtml#id=1644133

Martin and Ian decided to marry Smaug (of course they do!  ) their reasons are great. I think Ian would be a brilliant Cumberbitch!

My favourite quote of Ian about Martin : "He's been trying to have relationships with Gandalf on and off the set!"

Weird and funny.

That was really funny.  I've never heard of that game.  So, can I marry both Bilbo and Smaug? Yeah, and those two would also be on my f*** list.  Funny how that works.

And I said "dangerous" and here you are.

You. It's always you. John Watson, you keep me right.

A.O. Scott, the chief movie critic for The New York Times, reviews The Hobbit:

Spoiler alert: He doesn't give it a glowing review.

Not surprised.  It's getting terrible reviews from the major critics.  I think it's sitting at a 30% cream of the crop rating at Rotten Tomatoes.

MSN has a hilarious video with Martin and Andy Serkis here.  It's definitely my favorite of Martin's junket interviews this tour.

Think I'm on the wrong thread but I won't be saying much, so will leave it here:
Saw it last night.
Loved it.
Martin adorable.
Felt it was very special for the Sherlock fandom, for more reason than one.
No Star Trek trailer at mine, but we were treated to a Benedict camera ad!
Can't wait for the other 2.

Someone was so lovely and made gifs of that "F***, Marry and Kill" interview.

Although it's more Benedict related.

Agree with everything!

Bummer no Star Trek Luckily we got it. People clapped when Benedict came on the screen! Some fellow Sherlockians no doubt.

SH: "Brilliant, Anderson."
Anderson: "Really?"
SH: "Yes. Brilliant impression of an idiot."

Wait!  Does Martin say in this interview that there is a John Watson action figure?  Really?  Where can I get it?
