That seems to have worked just fine, KeepersPrice -- but what a curious picture!  What in heaven's name is it from???

I don't know.  Found it somehow on Tumblr and thought it was funny.

And I said "dangerous" and here you are.

You. It's always you. John Watson, you keep me right.

I assume it's related to Martin/John being made of kittens.

Don't make people into heroes John. Heroes don't exist and if they did I wouldn't be one of them.

OK, that could well be what the person meant on Tumblr -- but I seriously doubt that it's what the photo was originally intended to convey!

Do you notice the buttonhole on each of his suit cuffs, the one nearest his wrist, has red over stitching? A bit like the over stitching on Ben's Belstaff coat buttonhole.

BBC Books' forthcoming Sherlock: The Casebook has a terrific shot of John Watson on the back cover.  (On the actual cover, the photo is to be holographic!)

The book is already available for pre-ordering from Amazon.co.uk -- and yes, they will ship to just about anywhere (I've been ordering from them for years).

I can't wait for December

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
John: "Fantastic."
Sherlock: "Meretricious."
Lestrade: "And happy new year."

"Oh, but we both know that's not quite true"

I'm just hoping that one of the theaters around here will have a 12:01 a.m. showing of The Hobbit on the 14th!

Thank you for posting that without the usual juxtaposed kitten!  (It's a very fine kitten, but it should go find its own forum.)

Any idea where the photo is from?

Here's my favourite John moment from The Blind Banker:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
John: "Have you spoken to Mycroft, Molly, uh, anyone?"
Mrs Hudson: "They don’t matter. You do."

I BELIEVE IN SERIES 5!

The funny gif that Wholocked posted above is one of Freeman's many characters from Bruiser, a comedy-skit program that he did in 2000.  The UK Amazon has it as a Region 2 DVD -- another reason for the rest of us to get a region-free DVD player!

He looks very daring and heroic in this picture.
