He's quite rude about our Sherlock...seems he doesn't really like his personality very much.

Reviewer has missed the whole point here. The point is exactly that Sherlock is aloof and socially inadequate on many levels. This series shows him become more humanised.

Also there is nothing actually wrong with witty, sparkling, fast dialogue! It just needs more effort from the viewer- nothing to do with the English accents actually.

Clearly TRF has the reviewer hooked though.
