There is a series of metas on tumblr, written by acafanmom. IMO they are some of the best metas there are. Acafanmom is teaching cinematography (I've I understood that correctly) and analyses the three episodes of S3 in great detail. And lovely Light was right, they are too interesting to get lost in the comprehensive Johnlock guide.

I don't agree with all of her ideas, but what I love is that she never just states something. She always presents (lovely) pictures from the episode and explains how she comes to her conclusions. I think that she is very neutral about Mary and Johnlock, so you can also enjoy her analysis if you like Mary and are an advocate of bromance.

I really like these metas, are very well worded, very well thought. I do not agree either with everything (i think i see Mary a little bit more of villain), but they are GREAT! They gave me also some other POV, made me rethink some of my impressions. Such a pity there are only for the third season....

I read them too quickly, in the next days i will take at a slowly pace each episode and put my thoughts about it.

Thank you for posting those links - they were a great read.

I'm not good with tumblr - I get the impression that the links you posted go only to the first part of each of the analyses, but I can't find the continuations... feeling really stupid here, but help would be much appreciated.

It was the first thing I have learnt after I joined the fandom - never to trust Moffat and Gatiss. All in all they were guys who have directed some fake scenes (for example with Mycroft and Moriarty) just to confuse fans.
