Did series 3 answer any questions you had from series 1 and 2?

Today I was thinking that there were so many questions I had before series 3 of which just a few were answered by the new episodes.

Q:
ASiB: Where does the mug of tea (standing on the kitchen cupboard) come from when Sherlock leaves his bedroom in a sheet?
A:
TSoT: Mrs Hudson would make Sherlock his morning tea. (At least when John isn't around.)

Q:
TRF: Did Sherlock hear John's speech at the grave?
A:
TEH: Yes, he did.

Any more of your questions from series 1 and 2 series 3 gave answers to?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
John: "Have you spoken to Mycroft, Molly, uh, anyone?"
Mrs Hudson: "They don’t matter. You do."

I BELIEVE IN SERIES 5!

Q:
TSiB: Has Sherlock still had Irene Adler in his mind after their parting?
A:
TSoT: Yes, he had (although he wanted to get rid of her from his mind)

Q:
THoB: Are there any people, which Sherlock knows, in his mind palace?
A:
HLV: Yes, they are ( Molly, Anderson, Mycroft and Moriarty )

Q:
ASiP: Is Mommy Holmes still alive?
A:
HLV: Yes, she is. And there's also still a Daddy Holmes.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
John: "Have you spoken to Mycroft, Molly, uh, anyone?"
Mrs Hudson: "They don’t matter. You do."

You beat me to some of mine (especially Irene and his parents!), but I've got one more:

Q:
Does Sherlock have the bad sleeping habits/insomnia as seen in fan fiction?
A:
No. As per TSOT, he has a regular sleeping pattern.

Mary

John: That's clever. So you scratch their backs and...
Sherlock: Yes. And then disinfect myself.

Q:
SiB: Are Sherlock´s porn preferences really that different from other men´s? (dirty mind, I know )

A:
HLV: No, according to CAM, they are quite normal.

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

One could argue if CAM is trustworthy but I tend to believe him in this.

Q: WTF is going on between the Holmes brothers?
A: It's not as bad as it looks. Not good though.

Q: Are the Holmes parents rich and "special", living in a villa or some kind of castle?

A: No, they're surprisingly ordinary.

Q: How much does Mycroft really cares about his little brother?

A: A LOT!!!
("Your loss would break my heart." Mycroft was absolutely serious with that. Also with: "Oh Sherlock, what have you done?" He wasn't blaming him in this scene. He had a sentiment!!!)

Q: Would Sherlock do things for John, which he wouldn't do for others (socially)?
A: Yes, the whole best man / wedding thing is not easy for Sherlock. (Remember the Aspergers and the dinner he refused to go (Many happy returns). He just does it for John, even wedding planning! Serviettes...

Though to be fair, many men would only be best man once in their lives.

Q: What are the Christmas dinners of the Holmes family like?

A: Well, obviously not as hellish as I imagined after ASiP (even if we didn't really get to see the dinner).

Q
ASiB: What is behind the glazed door in Sherlock's bedroom? (We once had a whole thread about that!)
A:
HLV: The bathroom (including a bath tub, apparently).

A. Nope. At least not yet.

A. Quite possibly.  (My shipper heart yes "Yes, of course, obviously" but I want to be a bit more unbiased than that.)

Q. Ooh, is Mary gonna come in here and ruin everything and make me hate her?

A. NO!

Wait...oh my god...YES OHMYGOD....wait..

.Nope, never mind. (mostly)
