=14pxThis shocking expose goes behind the headlines to uncover the true story of Clark Rockefeller, wealthy scion of a great American family, who kidnapped his own daughter and vanished. The police and FBI were baffled. Tips poured in, but every lead was a dead end … because “Clark Rockefeller” did not exist. In a gripping work of investigative journalism, Mark Seal reveals how German native Christian Gerhartsreiter came to the United States, where he stepped in and out of identities for decades, eventually posing as a Rockefeller for twelve years, married to a wealthy woman who had no idea who he really was. Fast-paced, hypnotic, and now updated with more stunning details, The Man in the Rockefeller Suit=14px chillingly reveals the audacity and cunning of a shape-shifting con man.

Yes, I never heard about this story either. I can imagine Benedict very well in this part.

Yeah, sounds good. I love Catch me If You Can and those kind of movies.
If the main character is originally a German guy, I hope very much, that we will get a scene where we hear Benedict speak some German!!

I once watched a German TV interview in which he tried to say some words. He was lovely. But in order to play a German he would have to do a lot of work. On the other hand Gerhartsreiter was 17 when he went to the USA, so I think he might be played by a younger actor or they start the story at a point where his English was already flawless.
